Old Vault Letters, Michelle Godfrey - March 6, 2013

Today I switched to the same letters Elaine did earlier this week, -b01f12-01, -b01f12-05, and -b01f7-01. She did a great job as usual getting through the bulk of the transcription which was good for me because I had a bit of a late start due to parking issues.

As Elaine mentioned, Mr. Hutchin's had the habit of misplacing spaces within the words. Quite often, I find it challenging to figure out the names contained in these documents. Being forewarned about the quirky writing of Mr. Hutchin's, helped me get the names of these two people.

A C Allen

The other letters had no major problems since they were basically more of the dreary legal jargon packed with phrases containing the words:  thereof, thereto, hereby, herein, and hereunto.

Just to note, today Cecilia and I learned that if the parking garage is full, there are a few additional spots on the dock level that can be used if needed. If spaces number 21, 22, or 23 are empty, we can park there.
