Two question about how database information should be entered:
1. When entering page numbers what determines the use of parentheses or brackets?
2. In the subject area should it be song or songs in the phrase "Song(s) with piano." Both options have been used in the catalog.
1. Transcribe the page information as it was written on the card, using parentheses or brackets.
ReplyDelete2. Use "Songs with piano." This is the correct heading. We can do a find-and-replace to change all of the "Song with piano" subjects.
